Name: Embry Tara Adimu Nickname: Ebony, Eta, Adu or Tara
Age: 16
Gender: Female
Year: 3
Gift: Still developing, she thinks. Things seem to pop up, though she has made things disappear before…but only a few times.
Personality: Embry is a quiet and shy girl. Though she does posses charm, in her own way, she doesn’t like to interact with people as much as she should. Her quiet and non social behavior is usually put aside once she feels comfortable with the people she is around. Her sensitive ways can push her right back into her quiet self if she feels threatened or uncomfortable. She gets embarrassed easily, her powers are still forming and she doesn’t like to use them unless she is alone or with a teacher. She is skittish, loud noises, fast movements, and quick paced activities put her out of her comfort zone. Fortunately she isn’t always shy and easily scared. When she has used her power she is happy, funny, and the life of the party.
Physical Description: Long white hair is what catches the eyes of most people. When she moves it seems to envelope her body, glistening brightly in any light it comes in contact with. Her eyes are a dark grey, sometimes black, always searching for the meaning behind your eyes. She is tall for her age, about 5’ 8”, but she stands proudly, many boys still shorter then she. She is thin, frail, almost. Her movements are that of a cat at times, swaying and lazy, her mind seeming to wander as she walks, showing in her light step and blank face. Her skin is always light, a curse she inherited from her father. Her powers come from her mothers gene pool, her mom an experienced weather controller, her grandmother was a powerful spirit communicator, and the list goes on and on. Unfortunately for her, her power is still shaky, though her mother says that won't last long, her birthday is coming up and 17 is the magic age for the family's girls.

Brief History: Embry grew up in India. Yes, the beautiful country of India. Her mother was a native, the family coming from Kanyakumari, a small town on the tip of India by three bodies of water. Her father, Blake, was an english man who had lived in India for a good portion of his life. He fell in love with Nirupama. A year after meeting they concieved Embry. Growing up on the beaches of India and in the clutches of her Patti (her mom's mother and her grandmother), who was convinced to teacher her everything about sorcery, magic, and religion she could. Her childhood was fairly normal. She would visit her father parents in England every few summers, learning manners, etiquite, and fashion from her Grandmother. She quickly became a proper little indian girl, though she never looked like her mothers side, except for the dark eyes that held your look. She learned that she was special one day when her small doll began to dissolve, her mother watching as Embry looked on in slight horror. From then, they had been trying to nurse her powers, trying to get them to come out, but failing. Her mother sent her to Hollowed Oak when she was only 14 after hearing of the sucess of the school, in hopes of finding her daughters power and teach her to use it. Now, Embry awaits yet another year of fun, learning, and hopefully some excitement.
Roleplay Example: Tears mixed with the rain, both falling down her cheeks. The thin shirt and pair of jeans she was wearing did little to block the sharp attack of the moody weather. Dark hair was dripping from the wet, her whole body shivering as she stood there, waiting. 'I'll wait forever.' she had said, but forever came too soon. Now, beating fists against the cold ground her heart shattered. The man before her watched, helpless to her cries of pain. There was nothing he could do, his job was just to tell her. Another soldier, another heart, another life that was meant to be lived with it's other half. Unfortunately, it was all just another day. Slowly turning from the scene he left her, her pain seeping into the ground as she screamed for his name. "I'm sorry." he muttered, turning on the car and pulling away.
